The Main Ideas of the Article Concerning Black Conrad

The task of the article is not only to understand the information, but also to be ready to analyze it in an adequate way. The main character is a publisher from Chicago Sun-Times and London Daily Telegraph, Black Conrad, who was incriminated by Hollinger International Inc. The charge of the empire holder was personal benefication due to disinformation of the investors from Hollinger International Inc. and of the people who was working with him.
A really great amount of emotionally colored methods help to see the core of the case and to start analyzing in correct way. Different kinds of facts were used in the creating of this article – theoretical and realistic. Of course, due to the character of the case, its connection with the court system, the great number of facts was limited. The information was general, but everybody wanted to know more, for example about the presence of his wife, second wife, daughter… One of the facts was real – his layer was one of the most excellent layers in Canada.
There exist differences between the conceptual and factual data due to the act that the first one shows the outlook and opinion of the person, who was writing the article and was present during the action. A lot of ironic words were in the paper, probably the negative character was not the goal of the words, but nevertheless we can see a piece of attitude to Black Conrad: ‘humble family guy, ordinary family man’ and others.
Also, the author tried to give the description to the family of the defendant. The words were also full of irony, sometimes in positive degree, sometimes in the negative one. One interesting example: ‘shows off her legs’ the words concern one of the wives and were following after the information about the age of the woman.
One more thing which was used by the writer was loaded language. Such words underlined the general idea of the thought.
